Full Program Details
Every time you stream a show, pay a bill or open a work app, a cloud server somewhere is doing the heavy lifting. Someone has to set those servers up, keep them secure and fix them when they break. AWS re/Start is a fast way into that work, and through Per Scholas it costs learners nothing.
Per Scholas, a US nonprofit that has trained more than 35,000 learners, runs AWS re/Start as a live, instructor-led remote course. The next national class starts on 7 December 2026, and applications close on 23 November 2026.
AWS re/Start at Per Scholas is offered at no cost to eligible learners, and it prepares you for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification in 15 weeks.

GizPulse Verdict
Who this is for: US residents who want a structured, no-tuition route into cloud computing, including career changers from retail, customer service or admin roles who can commit to full-time daytime classes for four months.
Who should pause: Anyone who must keep a full-time day job, since classes run 9 to 4 Eastern every weekday. Readers outside the US should look at free AWS Skill Builder courses instead.
One tip to stand out: Start the free Tech Prep Work as soon as you apply, not at the last minute. Finishing it early shows the admissions team you can handle the pace, and the deadline for this class is only two weeks before day one.
