About the Role
- Design and build distributed systems that ingest, normalize, store and deliver realtime market data from blockchains
- Handle event ordering, duplicates, replay, gaps and blockchain reorganizations in streaming pipelines
- Build reliable client feeds and APIs with clear delivery contracts and access controls
- Define service objectives and data quality measures, and turn incidents into lasting fixes
- Own services through deployment and take part in the on-call rotation
- Use AI tools throughout development and mentor other engineers
About You
- You have built and operated distributed backend or data services with demanding reliability needs
- You know realtime streaming systems, including concurrency, backpressure and recovery
- Strong computer science and backend skills; Rust, Go or similar languages are valued
- You turn vague requirements into practical designs and write clearly for a distributed team
- Financial or market data experience at a financial institution is a plus
Nice to Have
- Blockchain indexing experience (EVM or Solana)
- Reference data experience, such as instrument and entity masters
- Experience at a company where the data is the product
