The ideal candidate is a multifaceted technical and creative writer with at least two to four years of professional, non-academic experience. Candidates should understand how to produce content that blends SEO best practices with brand priorities to deliver work that is engaging, creative, and results-driven.
Candidates must be willing and able to conduct thorough research to develop a strong understanding of various industries. Applicants should be prepared to provide a portfolio featuring published work. Once an offer has been extended, writers will be required to complete a brief training course.
Compensation
Writers are paid on a per-word basis. Rates are determined using a KPI rubric, with automatic increases after 400 and 800 published pages on client websites.
- Initial compensation is up to 0.06 dollars per word, with 0.034 dollars per word being the most typical rate. This equals approximately 30 dollars or 17 dollars per 500-word page.
- After 400 published pages, the top rate increases to 0.064 dollars per word, with a typical rate of 0.038 dollars per word. This equals approximately 32 dollars or 19 dollars per page.
- After 800 published pages, the top rate increases to 0.07 dollars per word, with a typical rate of 0.044 dollars per word. This equals approximately 35 dollars or 22 dollars per page.
