This role is open to applicants based in Europe, the Middle East and Africa who live within four hours of UTC (UTC-4 to UTC+4). Oyster names Romania, Portugal, Spain, Poland and South Africa as hiring locations for the role, and you must have the right to work where you live.
Oyster exists so a company in London or New York can hire a brilliant accountant in Johannesburg or Lisbon without opening an office there. That promise depends on clean books in every country where Oyster itself operates, and this role is the person who keeps them that way.
