About the Role
You will join the Platform Squad, which builds the infrastructure, tools and systems that keep Resend fast, secure and reliable. You will:
- Build and improve the platform that powers Resend, mainly on AWS
- Design and run scalable cloud infrastructure with a focus on reliability, performance and security
- Automate operational work and build self-service tools for engineers
- Set platform standards so teams build, deploy and run services the same way
- Improve observability, join incident response and turn incidents into lasting fixes
About You
- 8+ years in infrastructure, platform or SRE work
- Strong infrastructure as code experience with AWS CDK, Terraform or Pulumi
- A good grasp of distributed systems: queues, workers, databases, caching, networking and load balancing
- Solid AWS knowledge and hands-on observability work with Datadog, Grafana or OpenTelemetry
- Clear written and spoken English
Nice to Have
- Experience running high-throughput systems at scale
- Internal platforms, developer tooling or self-service infrastructure
- Node.js, TypeScript, Go and Postgres
What Resend Offers
Resend states pay of US$150,000 to US$180,000, depending on location and experience. The role is fully remote with flexible shared hours, plus some travel for team offsites, conferences and meetups.
