This is a highly collaborative, analytical, and strategic role requiring strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. You'll work closely with the DEC Technical Operations team and partner across Site Project Management, Pre-Construction, Contracts, Finance, Accounting, Sourcing, and Operations Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, document, and communicate schedule risks through defined processes (Risk Registers, health reviews, New Build Program management meetings)
  • Own all aspects of vendor and contractor schedule management
  • Own contractor baseline schedule development and evaluation during pre-construction, ensuring adherence to program guidance and specifications; lead efforts to optimize schedules for speed to market and on-time delivery
  • Apply commercial entitlement for contractor Extensions of Time (EOT) across your portfolio; provide leadership on delay tracking, EOT requests, and claims; make recommendations aligned with contract terms and escalate when site decisions diverge from contractual or program guidance
  • Lead identification and application of Proactive Risk Indicators, ensuring risks are escalated to Health Reviews and other appropriate forums; lead ad-hoc schedule analysis as needed
  • Lead a small team of consultants (where required) to support schedule management for the portfolio
  • Travel approximately 50% to other Data Center sites within the area, plus home office

Qualifications

  • Subject matter expertise in Primavera P6 and other scheduling methodologies/software
  • Experience developing/managing an Owner's planning and scheduling program
  • Familiarity with Data Center, Infrastructure, or Construction programs involving complex commissioning specifications
  • Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, prioritization, organization, and reporting skills
  • Experience leading complex project/program planning and coordination across large groups of internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience driving actions or operational adjustments based on schedule/project controls performance metrics

  • Track record of successfully developing and implementing scheduling/project controls strategies in a large organization
  • Experience with responsible, ethical AI practices (risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality/accuracy reviews)
