The work varies day to day — building dashboards, designing and analyzing A/B tests, uncovering behavioral trends, collaborating on ML model discovery, or improving data pipeline reliability.

What You'll Do

  • Turn data into insights and recommendations — define and refine key success metrics, uncover trends, and translate data into clear recommendations that shape product decisions and strategy, supported by dashboards and reports

  • Enable data-driven decision-making at scale — implement self-service data solutions for Product teams, and contribute to foundational work like scalable data pipelines, data accessibility, and expanding the A/B experimentation program

Who You Are

  • 6+ years of experience in data science or analytics, ideally at an online company, with a strong quantitative background and experience owning complex projects
  • Highly proficient in SQL and at least one language for data transformation (Python, R, etc.); comfortable with large datasets, pipeline optimization, and tools like Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, dbt, or Dataform
  • Strong statistical expertise - regression analysis, causal inference, time series modeling, hypothesis testing
  • Extensive experience with web/app analytics tools like Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, including designing and validating measurement strategies
  • Hands-on experience designing and evaluating A/B tests and other experiments with robust methodology
  • A strategic problem solver who proactively identifies opportunities and influences business/product strategy through data
  • Strong communicator and mentor, able to translate complex insights for leadership, engineers, and product teams, while supporting junior data scientists
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset: takes ownership and drives initiatives independently
