About Cribl

Cribl is building the telemetry infrastructure for the AI era, partnering with IT and Security teams at many of the world's biggest enterprises — including half of the Fortune 100 — to bridge the gap between AI ambition and infrastructure reality. As the AI Platform for Telemetry, Cribl gives customers choice, control, and flexibility to manage and analyze telemetry for both humans and agents. One of the fastest-growing private companies in a massive, fast-moving market, Cribl is remote-first and global, built on the idea that software is a people business.

About the Role

Cribl is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the team as they expand in Poland (fully remote within Poland). You'll join a team of engineers committed to shipping high-quality observability software, contributing across the full product lifecycle — envisioning, creating, deploying, testing, and shipping. SREs at Cribl are involved from conception and design through development, production, and beyond — fixing things operationally is treated as a last resort, not a first response. You'll bring creative input across cloud architecture, scaling, reliability, and high availability.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with teams to improve service delivery and reliability across the full system lifecycle
  • Measure and monitor production systems for availability, latency, and overall system health
  • Investigate the root causes of errors and instability in production cloud services, driving teams toward better operational excellence
  • Partner with product and platform teams to advocate for changes that improve reliability, resilience, and observability
  • Identify and reduce toil through creative automation and innovation
  • Participate in stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties as required

Qualifications

  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and operating observability systems for complex cloud-based platforms, with strong knowledge of best practices (ideally leveraging Cribl products)
  • Experience with Configuration Management and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform (preferred) or Ansible; experience with Cloud SDKs a plus
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS and Azure preferred) and container/orchestration technologies
  • Experience with APM and observability tools such as New Relic, Splunk, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana/Kibana, Sentry, etc.
  • Extensive experience in enterprise-scale continuous delivery environments
  • Development experience with JavaScript/Node.js/TypeScript in a Linux/Mac environment
  • Experience with sustainable, blameless incident response practices
  • Background in Linux Systems Engineering
  • Experience with incident response tools such as PagerDuty, FireHydrant, or Blameless
  • Comfortable with high autonomy and working within a distributed team
  • Knowledge of cloud and application security best practices
  • Strong knowledge of cloud design patterns for scale, data management, and resiliency
  • A passion for quality and strong testing instincts
  • Informed opinions on business metrics and SLOs

Cribl welcomes applicants of all backgrounds and considers candidates for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or other legally protected characteristics.
