About the Role
Digital payments is one of Testlio's main growth areas. As Payments Solutions Architect, you will define what the company sells in this space, from the service catalogue and testing methods to staffing and pricing. You will also go deep into clients' transaction systems to solve hard quality engineering problems in areas like mobile payments, wallets, point of sale and agentic payments.
Your work will include:
- Setting and sharing a clear point of view on the future of payments testing through white papers, talks and webinars
- Working with Testlio's alliances team and partners on joint offerings with payments consultancies
- Joining sales conversations with enterprise prospects to advise on testing strategy and return on investment
- Launching and refining payments services based on market and competitor insight
- Designing testing approaches for complex client payment architectures
- Acting as the senior expert on tough payments projects, from scoping to reviewing test results
About You
- 10 or more years working with digital payment systems such as gateways, wallets, mobile money, online banking or POS
- A strong feel for quality engineering, API integrations and software development in financial services
- Able to dig into payment architecture and troubleshoot integrations yourself
- A consulting or managed services background and comfort leading technical discovery with clients
- Experience designing service offerings and understanding cost to serve
- Excellent written, visual and spoken communication with both engineers and executives
- Able to lead distributed teams without direct reports

- A master's degree in finance, computer science, software engineering or a related field
