About the Role
As Presales Engineer for South EMEA, you will join the sales team on both new business and strategic accounts and own the technical win.
You will:
- Work with account executives on qualification, demos, proofs of concept, RFPs and technical presentations
- Lead technical discovery and recommend the best solution using Twilio's APIs
- Build interactive product demos for technical and non-technical audiences
- Become a trusted advisor to customers and solve problems as they come up
- Share demo materials and knowledge with the wider presales team and mentor newer colleagues
About You
- 8 or more years in presales for complex technical products, or 10 or more years supporting technical products in customer-facing delivery or consulting
- A confident presenter and storyteller who can explain complex topics to any audience
- Software development experience or working knowledge of backend (Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP) or web development (JavaScript, React, Vue.js, Angular)
- Experience building with REST APIs
- Experience in telecom, SIP, contact centre or security
- A degree in a technical subject or equal practical experience
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud or Azure
- Experience with customers in Southern Europe
- Strong French, Spanish or Italian
