Full Program Details
Everyone has been on the other end of a broken laptop or a locked account. The person who fixes it is the first rung on one of the most reliable ladders in tech: IT support. Per Scholas, a US nonprofit, runs a full-time course that teaches those skills at no cost to the learner, and a remote class opens on 7 December 2026.
The AI-Enabled IT Support course runs for 15 weeks and prepares you for CompTIA A+ and the Google AI Professional Certificate. No previous experience is required. Applications for the national remote class close on 23 November 2026.
No-cost, 15-week, full-time IT support training with instructor-led live classes, ServiceNow practice, and preparation for CompTIA A+ and Google AI credentials at no cost to you.

Career coaches help with your resume and interview practice. Full-time learners can also apply for a 0% interest loan from Ascent to help with personal expenses during the course. GizPulse Verdict
Who this is for: US-based adults with work authorization who want a funded, structured start in IT, especially career changers with no technical background.
Who should pause: anyone outside the United States, and anyone who cannot give 35 hours a week to live classes for about four months.
One tip to stand out: start the 20 hours of Tech Prep Work the day you apply. Finishing early gives you time to prepare for the assessment and interview before the 23 November cutoff.
