Role Overview

PostHog wants a remote Developer Marketer to turn product news into battlecards and talk tracks for its sales team. Open to applicants in the United States or Europe.

Apply Now

This role is fully remote. PostHog's posting lists the United States and the EU as hiring locations, so applicants based there are the target.

Most product marketers write decks that nobody opens. PostHog says plainly that it does not want that. It wants someone who can code a little, write a lot, and ship sales material every single week.

About PostHog

PostHog builds a suite of tools for product teams, including product analytics, session replay, error tracking, AI observability, a data warehouse and an MCP server that lets AI agents query product data. It came out of Y Combinator's Winter 2020 batch, says more than 500,000 organizations have installed it, and has raised more than $180 million. The company is natively remote, writes everything down in a public handbook, and keeps Tuesdays and Thursdays free of meetings.

About the Role

PostHog calls this role a Developer Marketer because it wants devtool experience. You will be the person the sales team turns to for positioning, competitor material and customer stories. You will:

  • Own sales enablement from start to finish, with playbooks kept in the public handbook
  • Turn product marketing work into battlecards, talk tracks, discovery questions and training sessions
  • Write positioning for platform features and products that have no dedicated product marketer
  • Pull use cases, objections and pain points out of sales call recordings and Slack threads
  • Ship new enablement material every week and improve it based on what Sales actually uses

About You

  • Excellent writing, research and communication skills
  • Some development experience; side projects count, even vibecoded ones
  • Experience marketing to developers or writing for technical readers
  • A track record of sales enablement content that people actually used
  • Comfort treating the sales team as your main internal customer

Nice to Have

  • Experience pulling insights from call recording tools such as Gong or Granola
  • Experience with handbook-style documentation
  • A background as a product, growth or content marketer at a devtool company

What PostHog Offers

The posting does not state a salary. PostHog publishes how it pays people and how it works in its public handbook, and this role comes with fully remote, async-first work and two meeting-free days every week.

If you are a technical marketer who likes shipping fast, apply on PostHog's official careers page: Apply for the PostHog Developer Marketer, Sales role
